What are the Available Machine Embroidery File Formats?
More than 5 years of experience and our deep knowledge in embroidery digitizing make us skillfully proficient for all your embroidery needs. But which file formats do we work with?
There are two file formats: outline (or parent) file format and expanded (or machine) file format. Outline files are specific to software, and expanded files are more generic and can be read by embroidery machines. Different embroidery machines, or even different designs at times, require various file formats. Even different software creates files with different formats.
For instance:
HUS format is stitch-based and is used on Viking/Husqvarna compatible machines and software.
CND format is shape-based which is used on Melco compatible software.
Wilcom, an embroidery software program, creates an EMB file. This file is entirely editable.
To make the process easier and extremely productive, we present a wide range of embroidery digitizing files formats that are in accordance with the industry-standard machine embroidery digitizing file formats such as EXP, CND, DSZ, DSB, KSM, XXX, T09, T05, T04, T03, T01, TAP, EMT, SEW, HUS, JEF, PCS, PCD, PES, PEC, CSD, PCQ, PDG, JPEC, DST, EMB and other formats requested by our customers.
Our main goal is to provide you with a design with no thread breakage and no meaningless stitches. To add depth and vibrancy to your artwork, we add intricate detailing and colors. With us, your embroidery designs are utterly production-friendly.
